Books About Gay Relationships
Using Other Resources for Self-Help
Although we've provided some articles to help gay
men find and sustain happy, healthy relationships - and more articles
are coming all the time - sometimes you want to be able to hold a good
book rather than stare at a computer screen, or just want a second
opinion. We have therefore provided some suggestions for books that may
provide some additional advice.
Note that the opinions expressed in the books are
those of the authors, and may or not completely coincide with the
opinions of the authors of this website. And they are just a few
examples of the numerous guides available for gay men forging lives
together.

When It's Time to Leave Your Lover: A Guide for Gay Men - Neil Kaminsky, 1999
Relationships can be a lot of work.
They're often worth fighting for, but sometimes the healthiest approach
is to admit the relationship is over and take steps to move on. Neil Kaminsky's guide is primarily written for guys who are already aware
that it's time for the relationship to end. His book provides advice about how to deal
with the emotional aftermath of a broken relationship, how to identify
the factors that caused the relationship to fail, and most importantly,
how to avoid repeating similar mistakes in the future.
