The advice here is designed specifically for gay men. Some of the guidance may seem universal in nature and could easily apply to lesbians and straight couples. But there are some cultural differences that apply specifically to gay men. That's the community the authors of this site know, and we don't pretend to have enough grounding in other communities to provide sufficiently specific advice.
